“Frost” is a monumental two-part glass wall sculpture inspired by the delicate yet powerful patterns created by nature in ice. Deep sculptural reliefs evoke the organic traces left by frost, frozen water, and the ever-changing formations that appear on winter landscapes—fleeting moments transformed into permanent form. Handcrafted from thick transparent kiln-formed glass, the work captures crystallization and the invisible forces of nature. Light passes through the textured surface, revealing intricate layers, shadows, and reflections that continuously change throughout the day, giving the artwork a living, dynamic presence. Composed of two interconnected panels, Frost explores the balance between fragility and strength, transparency and depth. It reflects Viktoras Dailidėnas’ ongoing fascination with natural processes and his ability to transform them into timeless contemporary glass sculpture.
